Arame GOUDIABY

Dr. Arame Goudiaby is a tenured Research Officer at the Centre for Applied Linguistics of Dakar (CLAD), where she is responsible for partnerships, terminology, and translation. She also serves as Treasurer of both the Solis (Linguistic Society of Senegal) and the AHNAF (Association for Digital Humanities in Francophone Africa), and acts as CLAD’s focal point to the Directorate of Research and Innovation at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar.

Her research focuses on language description, with a particular emphasis on Gujɐɐhɐr, a Nyun variety belonging to the Atlantic language family, as well as on language didactics. She also teaches articulatory and acoustic phonetics, along with lexicography, including the creation of databases using specialized software at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar.
