Mihaela STÎNGU

Dr. Mihaela Stîngu is a Lecturer in the Department of Education Sciences at the University of Bucharest, with a background in educational sciences. She holds a PhD in Education and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Bucharest. Her academic experience also includes research periods in Tallinn, Estonia.
Her professional activity encompasses teaching, research and participation in national and international education projects, in cooperation with public institutions and private organizations. She teaches research methodology, performance management and training management at bachelor and master level.
Her research interests centre on the use of evidence in policy and practice, as well as higher education, international education, and teacher training.
Elena MARIN

Elena Marin is a tenured lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest, in the Department of Educational Sciences, where she teaches courses (Cognition and Learning; Professional and Career Development Systems; Social Pedagogy) and seminars (Classroom Management; Special Educational Needs).
Her primary research focuses on inclusive education and teacher training. These topics should be further developed through the LocalLing project along with colleagues from the Moroccan NGO Itqan Foundation & Partners (Center for Cross-Cultural Learning (CCCL) .
She is a researcher at the Center for Development and Training in Higher Education (CDFIS), participating in several projects: “Blended Learning Continuing Education for University Teachers” (POS DRU 26646); “Restructuring the Continuing Education System for Pre-University Staff through the Generalization of Transferable Professional Credit System” (POS DRU 3777); EDiTE (European Doctorate in Teacher Education); and “Towards Research-Based Educational Policies: Mechanisms for Knowledge Mobilization and Research Brokering in Education” (PN-II-RU-TE2014-4-1605).
She coordinates several projects funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program, such as: Ethical Mobile Laboratory (2019–2021, 2019-1-DK01-KA203-060266), Coaching Academics as Learners for Inclusive Teaching in Optimal Networks (2023–2025), and Upskilling Preservice Teachers to Support Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through Digital Social Stories (2025–2027).
She serves as an external evaluator for national calls, including PNRAS (National Program for Reducing School Dropout) and PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), as well as for international agencies such as MFHEA, the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority.
Her international collaborations include partnerships with the Autonomous University of Barcelona, VIA University College in Denmark, University of the Balearic Islands, University of Valencia, University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti–Pescara (through the Erasmus Teaching Assignment program), and OsloMet University (PI in the EEA-MG-RO-NO-2018-0062 project funded through the UEFISCDI bilateral mobility program).
