Yamina EL KIRAT
EL ALLAME

Yamina El Kirat El Allame holds a Ph.D. on Amazigh language loss in the Beni Iznassen community. She is the founder and president of the ITQAN Foundation for Research in Human and Social Sciences.
Her research focuses on heritage and minority languages, language endangerment and revitalization, multilingualism, and the relationships between language, culture, and identity. She was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar (2009–2010) and has been an instructor at IES Abroad since 2012, where she teaches North African Cultural Identities.
She has contributed to several international initiatives on endangered languages, serving as a UNESCO expert on language vitality and as regional editor for North Africa and the Middle East for the UNESCO Atlas of Endangered Languages. Her work also includes involvement in language documentation and fieldwork training (CoLang12 Amazigh Practicum) and international conferences on African linguistics and endangered languages. Since 2017, she has served as ARLE SIG Multilingualism Coordinator.
Yassine BOUSSAGUI

Yassine Boussagui holds a Ph.D. in Language Policy and Amazigh Language Teaching in Morocco. He is also an active member of the ITQAN foundation. His research examines how language ideologies and constructed language attitudes affect the teaching and development of Amazigh, with a focus on sociolinguistics, language endangerment, and language revitalization.
He is an Associate Professor of Sociolinguistics at the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Human Sciences at Ibn Zohr University in Agadir, Morocco. He is also a leading member of the pedagogic committee of the MA program in Multilingualism and Language Education. He serves as the ARLE SIG Multilingualism Junior Coordinator, a Special Interest Group of the International Association for Research in L1 Education (ARLE). He is a member of the Edinburgh Circle on the Promotion of African Languages and the Foundation for Endangered Languages (FEL) in the UK. He is also a member of the ITQAN Foundation, where he serves as Amazigh Language and Culture Coordinator, and is the coordinator of the upcoming International Conference on Amazigh Language in the 21st Century.
Oumaima ELGHAZALI

Oumaima Elghazali holds a Ph.D. in Intercultural and Educational Exchange and a board member of the ITQAN foundation board, where she serves as Academic Events and Training Manager, contributing to the organization’s academic events and training initiatives.
She is also a professor and a researcher and practitioner in intercultural training and evaluation at Mohammed V University. Her work includes extensive experience with intercultural physical and virtual exchange through programs. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Africa Indigenous Knowledge Research Network (AIKRN). She was a presenter and organizing committee member for the 1st AIKRN conference in Uganda (2025) and the 2nd AIKRN conference in Canada (2026). Her work connects intercultural education, research, and community engagement.
Othmane ZAKARIA

Othmane Zakaria holds a Ph.D. in Culture, Migration, and International Education. He is a member of the ITQAN Foundation, where he serves as Vice General Secretary.
His work focuses on the intersection of education, technology, and intercultural learning, particularly in relation to teacher education and language teaching. Othmane is an Assistant Professor at ENS (Teacher Training) at Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University in Fez. His research interests include the impact of artificial intelligence on service-learning, enhancing future teachers’ intercultural awareness, and the integration of ICT in language teaching. He is also engaged in the development of instructional materials that support innovative and culturally responsive teaching practices.
His expertise in ICT contributes to initiatives related to endangered languages, including the secondment project “Endangered Languages (Amazigh): Bridging Tradition and Technology: Teaching and Course Development,” which aims to connect technological tools with language teaching and revitalization efforts.
